What is Awana?

Growing God's Kingdom through His Children

With an unwavering commitment to the gospel, Awana is being used to reach over 4 million kids every week in 120 countries, giving children and youth from every background an opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus for a lifetime. FBC is proud to partner with Awana, reaching kids in both your local community and around the world for Jesus, for life. 
Amid times of change, chaos, and an uncertain future, we believe the church needs to refocus on relational, scriptural, and experiential child discipleship.

A Message from Our Awana Commander 

Hello Parents,

We are quickly approaching the beginning of another great year of Awana, beginning in August, 2024.  I want to keep you informed about your Awana program.  Here are some very important topics you need to be aware of.

Please make plans to attend our Awana opening night. Once we have our start date finalized we will post that here on this page. Your First Baptist Church Awana staff will be available to meet with you and discuss the material your clubber will need to have a successful Awana year.

Please plan on staying the entire night. We would love for you to see your child’s classroom, meet their club leaders and observe our opening ceremony and game time.
